iPad Mini 3 vs. iPad Mini 2: Their Difference Tells It All

iPad Mini 3 vs. iPad Mini 2: Their Difference Tells It All
According to Forbes, iPad Air 2 wasn't the only new iPad announced recently. Apple has also updated iPad Mini. Surprisingly, iPad Mini 3 hasn't no major differences to iPad Mini 2. This is the main reason why some Apple users hesitate to buy the new iPad Mini. But what are really their differences? Is there any major update that people should watch out for?
iPad Mini 3 comes with the same design like its predecessor. It is hard to believe, but Apple hasn't changed anything in terms of design. The two iPad Mini have the same dimensions and weight. Both also have the same aluminum frame. The only thing that's difference between the two is that iPad Mini 3 will be available in gold color with silver and space gray.
However, according to Value Walk, the biggest improvement in iPad Mini3 is the fact that it has TouchID fingerprint sensor. Its biometric interface will allow you to unlock your device.
In terms of display, the new iPad Mini has the same display as its predecessor, which is a shocker for many Apple users out there. Its camera has also the same features like the iPad Mini 2. But, when it comes to storage, there is a huge difference. The reason behind it is that iPad Mini 2 is available in 16GB, 64GB, and 32GB versions while iPad Mini 3, Apple has officially ditched the 32GB storage and added 128GB version.
iPad Mini 3 also makes use of Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi like its predecessor. However, the new iPad Mini comes with the latest and most talked about iOS 8.1 operating system. Yet, if you have iPad Mini 2, you can quickly upgrade it to the new operating system. So, there is still no difference. This the why there is no wonder that some tech experts recommend consumers not to purchase the new iPad Mini.
According to PC Mag, the only reason why users should go for iPad Mini 3 is its storage and new color scheme. If you want a gold color scheme and higher storage, then buy iPad Mini 3.
