'Comedy Bang! Bang!': Will Ellie Kemper Make It On The Show
The first episode of “Comedy Bang! Bang!” was entitled “Ellie Kemper Wears a Purple Ruffled Sleeveless Top and Lavander Flats." Despite the fact that it does not seemed to be crazy and being wedged on its third season, but it was still funny to watch the thirty minutes of extreme comedy, according to the AV Club.
Andy Richer, the previous production assistant, said that the whole episode gives an illusion of “The Great Gatsby.” Looking back on his past days on CCB, he recalled the time in the set when people were drinking and having fun, while the PA named the crowd “The Awesome Aukerman”. But honestly, what Aukerman wanted was to ask the PA to include his cousin Ellie Kemper on the set. Aukerman said that Kemper was so gorgeous and she can make the young dear appear like a stack of shit.
Back then, Kemper as the episode’s guest had not yet been given a major role. While filming a movie about prison breakout, Kemper used to practice with Scott and told him how she was not as cheerful as of her role. She wished to have a bigger role aside from being a guest on the episode. In fact, she was somehow the channel for the Gatsby concept.
Those small diversions were the best part of the episode. But the iconic part behind the episode was another show of Scott entitled “Retool the School Makeover Academy Fall Semester”. This was when Scott gave the school a total renovation and beautification, then he had gain his profit form schools payment for their work. Unlike those Arcade Fires’ pussies- Scotts team insisted their payment. And when the school failed to pay, Scott mesmerized the kids by playing his flute and abducted them from school. It’s a kind of fantastic weird idea that works incredibly on the show.
According to Paste, "Comedy Bang! Bang!" on its first episode “Ellie Kemper Wears a Purple Ruffled Sleeveless Top and Lavender Flats” may not be the most inflated episode, but it is fun to watch way back into the CCB trench, before the fans drive themselves to the upcoming weirdness in the season!
