Carman Shares on 2014 'Live Across America Tour' Tour, His Health and Christmas Cd Plans
Christian music veteran Carman took to Facebook to share on his 52-City 'Live Across America Tour' and give an update on his health and Christmas plans.
Here is what he wrote:
"LAST NIGHT OF A 52 CITY TOUR AND TIME FOR THE FANS TO WEIGH IN: When I finished the kickstarter campaign and then started the Live across America Campaign I made a promise. I would record a New CD, Video, Start the first National tour in 14 years and sing on 100 stages across the USA. It was a rough year. The first 5 months I was deep into Chemotherapy fighting incurable cancer. During treatment I finished recording the record and the video screens. 6 weeks after being released I started the tour. I had zero energy and barely mustered up 90 minutes worth of performance, was drained at the meet and greets but did them all, then crashed the moment I walked on the bus for 10-12 hours. Now I'm fine, healthy and strong. Back in the gym and 2,500 salvations later, I'm 48 concerts away from fulfilling my promise starting again in February. So if you were at any of the concerts or have any keen observations, now is the time to hear your comments. In less than a week I'll be releasing a new Christmas CD and DVD only available for download to my partners and friends on Facebook. So tell us all what you feel, what you've seen or what your praying for the future of this ministry. 350,000 folks are listening : )"
The platinum-selling Christian recording artist released his latest album No Plan B which has been a strong success. The album landed in the top of multiple sales charts this week. No Plan B is currently No. 2 on the Adult Contemporary sales chart, No. 2 on the Christian/Gospel Digital sales chart, and No. 3 on the Billboard Contemporary Christian sales chart as reported by SoundScan. The album is available at online retailers such as iTunes, Amazon and Christian Book Distributors, and at Christian retailers such as Family Christian Stores, Lifeway Christian Stores, Mardels and Walmart.
"I am thankful for the overwhelming support from my fans and the positive response to my album 'No Plan B' and tour,'" said Carman. "It is a blessing to be able to get back out on the road and share the music with my fans. We continue to add dates to the 'Live Across America Presents: No Plan B Tour' and invite everyone to come see me out on the road this summer and fall."
Plan B was made possible by a successful Kickstarter campaign and released by Carman's own Norway Avenue Records through Capital Christian Distribution. The Kickstarter campaign was super successful, becoming the second most funded Kickstarter music campaign ever and set the tone for the momentum behind the release of No Plan B and major national tour, 'Live Across America Presents: No Plan B Tour.'
