The Funeral Details of Carolyn Robinson Reese (Wife of Ray Dean Reese of The Kingsmen Quartet) Announced
Carolyn Robinson Reese, wife of Ray Dean Reese of The Kingsmen Quartet, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.
A native of Haywood County, she had resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She was formerly employed with Dr. John Frye, Ophthalmologist as a Physician's Assistant, was a member of the West Asheville Church of God (Connection Point) and was a graduate of Enka High School.
Mrs. Reese was the daughter of the late Edward McKinnley Robinson and Dorothy Marie Towe Robinson. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra "Debbie" Yvonne; 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Surviving are her husband whom she married June 23, 1974, Ray Dean Reese of the home; daughter, Kelly Kathryn Reese of Candler; son, Brandon Scott Reese (Shannon) of Swannanoa; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 12 Noon in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
