"The Voice" Alum Anthony Evans Debuts New Gospel Single & Music Video For "Never Fail", Watch Here (VIDEO)
Pop and R&B artist Anthony Evans has released his new Gospel single and music video for "Never Fail" from his chart-topping recent album release, Real Life/Real Worship.
The singer/songwriter co-wrote the project with worship pioneers Martha Munizzi, her daughter Danielle Munizzi and Christian music staples Cindy Morgan and Krissy Nordhoff. He then partnered with up-and-coming Los Angeles producer Max Stark. Together they created a current, pop/soul infused 11-track album, that shows how genuine worship can often be better understood through authentic life experiences.
"Never Fail" is a celebration of God's unwavering promise to stand by His people, a promise proclaimed in Philippians 1:6, Anthony's favorite Biblical verse which was the inspiration for the song. Co-written with acclaimed Gospel music legend, Martha Munizzi and her daughter Danielle Munizzi, the song's passionate lyrics and Anthony's soaring vocals praise God's omnipresence and His will to never fail us.
"With this new record I wanted to write songs that reminded me about the faithfulness of God," explains Anthony. "'Never Fail' reminds us that God will do in us what He has promised in spite of our unfaithfulness. Philippians 1:6 is my favorite verse--He will finish what he started in us."
"I would love the whole dynamic of how this happened to inspire people to step into new opportunities, to think outside the box, to not be fearful," says Anthony. "Because on the other side of that fear could be an experience that changes your life."
His latest studio album Real Life/Real Worship, recieved the highest Billboard debut of his career. Real Life/Real Worship debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Gospel Albums, No. 4 on the Christian Albums and No. 5 on Top Christian/Gospel Albums Chart. Additionally, Evans' reached No. 2 on iTunes ® Christian & Gospel Albums Chart.
Real Life/Real Worship is Evans seventh studio album and was distributed by Fair Trade Services and the pop/worship album received high critical acclaim along with the success on the charts. With upcoming appearances on Life Today with James Robison and numerous concerts in the pipeline, Evans is also working with celebrated director Rock Jacobs as they prepare to unveil a brand new music video for Evans' new inspirational single "Never Fail."
Anthony Evans appeared on Season 2 of "The Voice" on NBC and worked with coach and singing sensation, Christina Aguilera. It was Evan's who inspired the producers of the NBC hit show to implement the strategic "Steals" into the battle rounds, and will return as a talent producer for Season 7 and 8. Since his time on "The Voice", Evans has recorded with iconic artists such as CeeLo Green, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion. It was through "The Voice" and his experiences living in Los Angeles that Evans discovered he had the desire to communicate more effectively with a broader audience, and that there is a vast common ground of shared experiences to catalyze that communication.
"My hope for this record is for people to be encouraged, and while I may come from the church, I go through the same things they do: love, breakups, failures, triumphs. We are all in this together and they aren't alone," says Evans.
