Michael W. Smith & Joey Lawrence to Star in Upcoming Movie "Pardoned by Grace"

Graham Family Films together with Scott Highberger and Atonement Pictures will produce a movie this summer called Pardoned by Grace. The film will also star Michael W. Smith as a lead actor alongside popular '90s heartthrob Joey Lawrence.
"Pardoned By Grace" tells the true story of the transformation of a man named Scott Highberger who went from being a notorious criminal to becoming a pastor. Lawrence, who is best known for his role as Joey in the '90s hit series "Blossom," will play Highberger in the upcoming Christian film.
Scott's true story is raw and real. Thirty-five arrests, eight felony convictions, and five prison sentences allowed Scott to hit rock bottom and come to the end of himself when he tried to take his own life. After years of struggle and failure, Scott was receptive to God's call on his life. Desperate, he turned to Jesus while incarcerated and everything changed. Today not only is Scott a free man.... He serves as the outreach/prison pastor at Road to Life Church in Michigan City, Indiana and ministers to thousands of prisoners each week.
"Pardoned By Grace" is in production by Graham Family Films. Executive producer Ben Graham, a grandson of the late evangelist Billy Graham, is senior pastor at Music City Baptist Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Kevan Otto, a law enforcement officer turned writer and director of many faith-based films, is the movie's director.
The faith-based film is still raising funds on its gofundme page.
