“Rowena” and Other Supernatural Season 10 Spoilers

"Rowena" and Other Supernatural Season 10 Spoilers
"Actresses who have or can perfect a Scottish accent are preferred," according to TVLine, to cast as "Rowena," a new recurring role in The CW's hit TV series, Supernatural. This new character, continued the source, is "a tough but elegant woman who will stop at nothing to reclaim her power base." Stop at nothing to reclaim her power base? Sounds like this lady has much in common with Abaddon or even Lilith. Anyway, we'll know soon enough come October 7 when Supernatural returns at its regular Tuesday time-slot, right after The Flash, CW's newest superhero TV series.
Incidentally, TVLine also said that Supernatural's first episode for Season 10 has been tentatively titled "Soul Survivor." Obviously, this episode will at some point have to take off from where the finale of Season 9 left us hanging - dead Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) resurrecting as black-eyed Demon Dean. Unlike regular demons, Demon Dean now also has the power of the Mark of Cain, and with it the First Blade, and with that an increasingly insatiable appetite for killing. He may have become an ultra bad demon.
How will Sam (Jared Padalelecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) help Demon Dean handle himself in his new found condition? Perhaps they could just let him be, and as suggested by Jared during the last Jus In Bello convention in Rome, "Well, we could always shoot him because it won't kill him, right? Yeah, so lots of gun fire and some holy water in the shower." That will be interesting and fun.
Filming is underway in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the Supernatural, Season 10, episodes. And Mark Sheppard, who portrays Crowley, King of Hell, is now a full-fledged series regular.
