Fresh SG Listening: New Music from Kingsmen Quartet, The Isbell Family, Avenue and Mark Bishop

Recently, Kingsmen Quartet, The Isbell Family, Avenue, and Mark Bishop have all dropped new singles. Here's your chance to catch up with the latest Southern Gospel releases.
1. Kingsmen Quartet "More to the Story"
The legendary Kingsmen Quartet returns with a hopeful lesson in perseverance and trust in their newest release for Horizon Records, "More To The Story." Written by the powerhouse trio of Kenna Turner West, Sue C. Smith and Jason Cox, "More To The Story" begins with an easygoing, Beatles-esque vamp before sliding into a relaxed yet insistent country-soul feel.
2. Mark Bishop "Like a Songbird That Has Fallen"
Mark Bishop has released a brand new single ahead of his forthcoming album. "Like A Songbird That Has Fallen" was first recorded by the Reeltime Travelers on the soundtrack to 2003's Cold Mountain.
"I was speaking with a friend about the album we were recording," Bishop recalls. "And she had me go looking for this song. I fell in love with not just the mountain melody, but I also fell in love with the unconventional lyrics that sound more like poetry than song lyrics. You really have to listen. Musically, the song encapsulates the entire album. It's a mixture of instruments from across the sea as they first meet the instruments of the Appalachian mountains. Add to that the harmony vocals by my friend Ally Griggs and it is just an absolutely captivating song to hear."
3. Avenue "I Will Follow Christ"
Avenue is proud to present their debut release on Penn Street Records. Here We Are is an outstanding collection of music from the up-and-coming trio, including songs such as "Be The Change," "Sound of Amazing Grace," and the new radio single, "I Will Follow Christ."
4. The Isbell Family "When I Pray"
The Isbell Family is made up of Eric, Rachel, Autumn, and Kaleb. They have been traveling full-time since March 2013 and have used their talents and testimonies God has given them to be a blessing to thousands of folks. The Isbell Family has already performed in nearly 2,000 concerts/services, as well as making appearances on the National Quartet Convention's Main Stage, at the Dollywood Theme Park, and on the syndicated Christian television show, Atlanta Live!
