Latice Crawford Hopes Listeners will Find Peace with New EP

Gospel music singer and songwriter Latice Crawford is back this Friday (June 4th) with her brand new EP The Cure. Featuring 6 new songs, this is Crawford's first project in 5 years. The new EP features the singles "Something Something" and "Amazing."
Crawford shares, "It is my hope that the story God has given me brings listeners on a relatable journey through the human experience and the power of going through it all with Christ. I want them to know that my story is our story, and that there is a loving God that cares about every aspect of our lives."
Crawfod came to national attention in 2014 when she was the runner-up winner on Season 2 of BET's "Sunday Best." Following the TV series, she released her self-titled debut album in 2014, which brought the inspiring hit "There." Blessed with a bold, powerful voice that has drawn comparisons to Whitney Houston and Vanessa Bell Armstrong.
In 2016, Crawford released her sophomore project, 'Diary of A Church Girl'. The critically acclaimed EP garnered Crawford her first Stellar Award nomination, a second Billboard charting album, and brought listeners a deep look into Crawford's personal relationship with God through songs such as "Author" and "Choose Me."
Now she is back with her "The Cure." Crawford hopes listeners will be experiencing God's peace as they listen to these new songs. "Go quiet if you need to while you're seeking it," she writes. "You dont have to ask anyone to give it to you anymore • It comes from within, So you don't need anyone's help to get it • You don't need permission • You don't have to over explain yourself, so they can be ok with your need for it or how you need to get it • You do not have to tip toe around their toxicity to keep it either • Stomp loudly in it • Pause them if they dare to disturb it • Take it • Hold on to it tight • It can be yours if you want it!"
