Michael W. Smith Celebrates His 40th Wedding Anniversary

Iconic multi-platinum, singer and songwriter Michael W. Smith celebrates his 40th wedding anniversary with his wife Deborah "Debbie" Smith on Sept 5th. Together they have five children: Ryan, Whitney Katherine Mooring (married to Jack Mooring of the band Leeland), Tyler Michael (keyboard player for the United Tour), Anna Elizabeth, and Emily Allison.
Smith writes, "I'm still pinching myself after all of these years....Being married to this extraordinary woman... who literally has changed my life. Not sure where I would be without her. So here we are... Sunday... September 5.....Our 40th wedding anniversary! I have lost count on how many times I have thanked my God for bringing this amazing woman into my life... Blessed beyond measure!"
Meanwhile, Smith is getting ready to release Worship Forever on Sept 10th. Worship Forever was recorded in front of a live audience at Allen Arena on July 12, 2021 in Nashville, TN. Smith was joined on-stage for this special recording by friends: Amy Grant, Matt Redman and Tauren Wells.
