Kirby Kaple Teams Up with Pat Barrett to Pen One of the Most Powerful Christmas Songs

Atlanta-based songwriter and worship leader Kirby Kaple has released one of the most powerful songs about this Christmas. "Let It Be So," written by Pat Barrett, Kirby Kaple, Rob Kaple & Maryanne J. George, is a powerful reminder of what Jesus came to do at the first Christmas.
Kaple has proven to be a force in the worship space between her undeniable gift for ushering people into the presence of God and her heart for serving the Church. As a songwriter, worship leader, and founding member of Atlanta-based band "Housefires", she has been a part of projects including "Build My Life (Pat Barrett), "You Keep On Getting Better" (Maverick City Music), and "I'll Give Thanks" (Housefires). She also serves as the worship pastor at Grace Midtown in Atlanta alongside her husband Rob who is the lead pastor.
"Well ... big week in the Kaple house y'all!," kaple announces. "My new single Let It Be So releases everywhere this Friday, October 22nd. This song is so special to me and I can't wait to share it with you all."
Here are the lyrics:
[Verse 1]
You said there will be a day
When the captives all go free
And every war will cease
You said there will come a time
When the nations of the world will change their minds
And be led by a little child
[Chorus]
Let it be so, let it be so with me, mm, mm-mm-mm
Let it be so, let it be so with me, mm-mm-mm
[Verse 2]
I know light will soon appear
To restore all the silent years
And wipe away our tears
You've shown there's a better way
Friends and enemies face to face
Looking like love in a broken place
[Chorus]
Let it be so, let it be so with me, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh
Let it be so, let it be so with me
Let it be so with me, yeah
[Bridge]
Come, let's live in the light of God
Let's walk in the way of love
Every daughter, every son, oh, oh-oh-oh
Come, let's join in Heaven's song
Together wake the dawn
[Chorus]
Let it be so, let it be so with me
Let it be so, let it be so with me
Let it be so (Let it be so), let it be so with me (With me)
Oh, oh-oh-oh
Let it be so (Let it be so), let it be so with me
Let it be so, let it be so with me
Let it be so, let it be so with me
[Outro]
Mm, mm-mm-mm-mm
Mm, mm-mm-mm-mm
