Britt Nicole Returns with Her First Single in 5 Years "I'll Fight for You"

CCM veteran Britt Nicole returns with her first single in five years. "I'll Fight for You" is her first single since her previous album Britt Nicole which was released in 2016. Written by Nicole, Jason Ingram, and Seth Mosley, the song is told from the vantage point of God as he encourages us in the midst of our trials. "I'll Fight for You" is the lead single from Nicole's forthcoming new album which will be released in 2022.
"I wrote this song with Jason Ingram and Seth Mosley in 2015," Nicole reveals. "It was the goodness and kindness of God to give me this song then knowing I would need it today. He went before me, He goes before you!!! Thank you to all my friends who helped me get this song out, you know who you are. And thank you for all the kind comments and post about the song!! If it's for one person it's worth it!!"
There ain't nothin' I can't handle
There's nothin' that I won't do
And when you're losin' in the battle (I'm right here)
I am gonna rescue you
I'll chase away the tears from your eyes
Gonna keep you safe, you are mine
There ain't nothin' I can't handle
And there's nothin' that I won't do, won't do
Britt Nicole was released her debut LP, Say It, in 2007. The album produced the top 10 hit "You." Nicole hit the Christian charts again in 2009 with her sophomore effort, The Lost Get Found, which also landed on the Billboard 200.A year later, she released the Acoustic EP, a collection of acoustic versions of some of her songs. Britt Nicole's third studio album, 2012's Gold, climbed to number 41 on the Billboard 200, and its title track marked her debut on the Hot 100 as well as on Billboard's Pop Songs chart. Later in 2012, she signed with Capitol Records, which reissued Gold in 2013. The LP went on to earn a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.
A year later, the song "The Sun Is Rising" appeared in the Cameron Diaz film The Other Woman. Led by the charting single "Through Your Eyes," her first album of original material for Capitol, titled simply Britt.
