Greg Laurie's Animated Series "Ben Born Again and Yellow Dog" Coming this Spring

Author, pastor, and evangelist Greg Laurie is launching a new cartoon series, "The Adventures of Ben Born Again and Yellow Dog," this spring. The series is based on a character he first created several years ago that he hopes will serve as both a source of entertainment and education about Christianity and the Bible.
The animated series is produced by Trilogy Animation. Trilogy Animation describes its mission as to "tell purpose-driven stories that are inspirational and fun." Other productions from the animation company include "VeggieTales," "Earth to Eden," "Jay Jay the Jet Plane" and "Tutenstein."
Greg writes, "I am excited to announce that my cartoon character, Ben Born Again and his buddy, YellowDog are now animated and our first cartoon is coming very soon! The first one is titled, `The Bridge Is Out.' These cartoons will be both entertaining and evangelistic. I think you are going to like them."
From a young age, Greg Laurie aspired to be a cartoonist. In the 1970's, during the Jesus Revolution he played a unique role in communicating the Gospel. Over one million copies of his cartoon track, "Living Water" have been distributed.
In 2023 Greg's life story was depicted in the critically acclaimed feature film, "Jesus Revolution." His love for art, and his passion to share the Gospel with the world has remained strong.
The pastor said he had wanted to become a cartoonist and, at one point, corresponded with Charles Schulz, who spearheaded the legendary "Peanuts" comic strip. Greg Laurie has created an extensive collection of original illustrations over several decades. Greg Laurie has partnered with Trilogy Animation Group to bring his illustrations to life.
Stay tuned for "The Adventures of Ben Born Again and Yellow Dog."
