Dave Luetkenhoelter no longer with Kutless; band conducts internal interviews for future bass player
Dave Luetkenhoelter, former bass player for the Christian rock band Kutless departed from band according to the Kutless’ posting from May 6 on the band’s Facebook page. According to the posting, Luetkenhoelter is led by God in a different direction.
Just yesterday Kutless announced that they had many questions concerning try-outs for the position and that currently they are conducting internal interviews for their future bass player.
Kutless, “Currently we are conducting internal interviews for our future bass player. At this time we are not doing any open rehearsals or try-outs. We would ask that you all be praying for us, that God will lead and direct us as we make this important decision. Thank you!”
BEC Recordings’ band Kutless sold about five million records. In 2009, Oregon rock band released their highly successful effort It is well with remarkable single “What Faith Can Do.” The album also contains some of the well-known worship songs like “God of wonders,” “Give us clean hands,” “Hungry,” or “Redeemer.”
Since then, Kutless also released Believer, in 2012. Earlier this year, the band released a collection of 14 worship songs titled The Worship Collection.
