Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 1 Release Date: Julianne Moore and Natalie Dormer as Part of the New Additions to the Cast for New Installment
A trilogy by its very definition contains three items. The Hunger Games Trilogy finally comes to an end with Mocking jay. Mocking jay, the final installation in the books by Suzanne Collin has been split into two parts by Lionsgate . This has been done, without doubt, to properly express all the events that Colin put in the book without loss of material. Part one of this two part finale has been announced for a November 21st 2014 release with part two expected on November 20th.
With the trailer for part one released at the San Diego comic-con and the release of the posters anticipation for the movie is building to near frenzy. The big question being where will part one end, speculation is rife that it will end at Finnick and Annie's wedding which would be the perfect place to end it and keep people waiting for the second installation. This installation of the trilogy starts out with Katniss in District 13 after she brings down the games and is stewarded away to safety. She fights to save Peeta and galvanize a nation into rebellion at the same time.
The cast and crew are expected to remain fundamentally the same with the award winning Jennifer Lawrence reprising her role as Katniss Everdeen and Josh Hutcherson remaining the very loveable Peeta. New additions to the cast include Julianne Moore who is to play President Coin and Natalie Dormer playing Cressida. Award winning screen writer Danny Strong known for movies like recount and Oprah Winfrey's The Butler is working on the screenplay with fellow writer Peter Craig to breathe life into Collin's books. All these people are working under the very capable direction of Mr, Francis Lawrence director of Constantine and I Am Legend. Lionsgate is definitely looking to make a lasting impression with this last installation making sure fans walk away with the Mocking Jay burned in our minds.
