Google Nexus 6 release date and latest news: October 2014 is the date and Google named it as Nexus X - the ultimate common man's smartphone
Looks like those who are anticipating the much awaited release of the Google Nexus 6 might not have to wait a bit longer. Reports are saying that Google Nexus 6 will be released to the public come October 2014. Although there is no final say on this at Google's part, fans may still hope for a late Q4 release of the smart phone. In previous reports, it's been said by Sundar Pichai, google's senior vice president, that Google Nexus 6 would not be released in the first quarter of 2014. The reason behind the delay is due to the development of a new line of Google smart phones called Android Silver.
Behind the debunked rumors of the Nexus line being discontinued, Google had revealed that Google Nexus 6 will be sporting a brand new 5.5 inch display with a 2 megapixel front camera and a 12 megapixel primary camera at the back. Along with that other Google Nexus 6 latest news states that it will be running on the Android 5 L with a 2560 by 1440 resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm processor with a 3GB memory and a 24 GB storage.
Further, Google Nexus 6 news states that it will be changed to the name of Nexus X and it will have a model number of XT1100.
The Google Nexus line of smart phones has been known to gadget aficionados as the smart phone with quality and high specifications for a low price - the ultimate common man's smartphone.
