The 2014 NFL football season kicked off last Thursday night in Seattle with the Seahawks facing the Green Bay Packers. Singer Ariana Grande had the privilege of performing the National Anthem during the pre-game.

The National Anthem is known by singers to be one of the most difficult songs to sing, not only because it is done a cappella, but the range of notes in the song is wide in range. Grande nailed it though and gave a flawless performance, really showing off her vocal chops. You can check out the video of her performance above.

Grande has been riding high on the charts lately. She currently has the songs "Problem," featuring Iggy Azalea, "Break Free," alongside Zedd, and "Bang Bang," with Nicki Minaj and Jessie J on the radio airwaves and charts. Now, the pop princess is gearing up to release her next surefire hit, "Be My Baby."

Grande released her sophomore album, My Everything, last month on August 25. She has been compared by many as the next Mariah Carey and much of her music even resembles the pop/r&b sounds of the 90's.

Grande won 'Best New Artist of the Year' at the American Music Awards 2013 and her debut album Yours Truly has opened to huge success releasing the singles "The Way," "Baby, I," and "Right There". The album went to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 charts.
