Samsung Galaxy Alpha Review: The Good and Bad About the Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Samsung Galaxy Alpha Review: The Good and Bad About the Samsung Galaxy Alpha
One of the latest releases from the South Korean-based company, Samsung, is the Galaxy Alpha. As Know Your Mobile has pointed out, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a proof of the company's efforts to listen to what its loyal patrons have to say, one of which is the criticism of the cheap and plastic feel of many of its units.
This latest release from Samsung utilizes a similar metal material as that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The same also goes true for the rear panel that is covered with a leatherette material. The incorporation of these two design improvements does give the Galaxy Alpha a much needed boost, in terms of visual appearance and aesthetic appeal. This is something that the company really needs, especially with the latest releases from its biggest competitor - Apple - which are the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
So for those who are wondering what the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has to offer and what makes it stand out, as well as those that are not really that great about the phone, take a look below to find out what Know Your Mobile and Top Tech News have to say about it.
The Good Aspects of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha
Below are the greatest qualities and characteristics that you can expect from the Samsung Galaxy Alpha:
- Impressive design, much better than many of the other previous Samsung releases
- Great display
- Huge storage capacity is definitely a welcome bonus
- Nice camera resolution
- Battery life is quite long, especially for a mobile phone of this size
The Bad Aspects of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha
As for the downside of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, there are just two things. One, is the fact that it costs a little more than what you would expect from this South Korean manufacturer, especially if you take into consideration the price of its previous releases. The other thing is that its scheduled release coincides with a time period wherein the Galaxy Note 4 will already become available, almost everywhere.
The Verdict
Both the Know Your Mobile website and Tech Radar have high recommendations for the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
