"The Hobbit 3: Battle of the Five Armies" Release Date, Update and Spoilers - An Epic Battle Begins! Who Will Die and Who Will Kept Alive? [SPOILERS]
From Peter Jackson, comes "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies," the third installment from the popular book "The Hobbit" by J.R.R. Tolkien.
"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" offers the conclusion to the epic saga of the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, played by Martin Freeman, Breathe Cast reports. The official trailer of the film showed that fans can expect epic battles between men, orcs, elves and of course, the dwarves. The battle is the most epic one and death follows, but Bilbo Baggins survived to help us relive it all. According to a post from Enstars, Peter Jackson revealed last July 28 at Comic-Con, that some of the main characters in the film will die. Jackson said, "It's always great when you can kill off some main characters. You have the chance to do something powerful and emotional. We do get to kill a few of them this time around."
Some of the fans petitioned that Thorin Oakenshield be kept alive since his character died in the book, but no details have emerged as of yet. One thing's for sure, the story of Thorin will come to light in the third installment of the Hobbit.
In the movie, Sauron has once again sent down thousands of orcs and the men, elves and the dwarves must decide if they want to unite and defeat the Dark Lord once and for all or lead their own separate ways and not survive.
Smaug, the dragon, is going to be some sort of a "killing machine." Smaug is going to wreak havoc and burn Lake Town. Sauron is also going to return for "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" and it is believed that he will fight the White Council, but it is rumored that the White Council will defeat him inevitably.
Just like the first installment of the film, "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" is set in Middle Earth. According to the same report of Enstars, this is about 60 years before Frodo started his journey with "The Lord of the Rings."
"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" is going to hit theaters on Dec. 17, 2014 worldwide.
