Motorola Moto G LTE release date: AT&T to launch the phone on 10th of October?
The long awaited Moto G LTE will finally come into the market by the carrier AT&T from October 10. Time will show how fans will ultimately welcome the smartphone.
According to AT&T senior product manager, Moto G LTE will be smart choice to shift from the older smartphones. Buyers might not have to think much about the wallet since this phone will cost $199 without contract and $79.99 with a year's contract and $7.50 monthly installment contract. This model was announced first in June and finally it arrives with AT&T carrier with attractive contract retails.
The Moto G LTE will try to focus mid-range market with smart hardware specification. The device brings 4.5-inch display size with IPS LCD capacitive type display. The display will have 720 x 1280 pixels resolution with 329ppi pixel density. For display glass protection corning Gorilla glass 3 is there. It has water resistant coating layer. Therefore, there is no worry if rain or water wets the phone a bit.
For a budget smartphone, Moto G LTE is very much affordable as it is packed with moderate configuration. It has Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon quad core cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The gaming quality is also decent with adreno 305 GPU. The phone weighs only 143g and is suitable for one hand operation as well.
The memory department has 8GB of internal storage facility with 32GB external micro SD card slot provision. The RAM slot is powered by 1 GB of RAM and all the apps and games run pretty smoothly without any delay.
The camera segment maintains simple configuration to bind the cost of the phone in a tight budget. The rear-facing camera has 5MP sensor with 2592 x 1944 pixel resolution. It can record 720p video at 30 frames per second.
Features like face detection, HDR, autofocus, panorama etc. are present. For low light scenario, the camera is assisted with LED flashlight. The secondary camera of the phone is standard 1.3MP.
Surprisingly the phone lacks the traditional Moto Display feature and Moto Voice feature but Moto Assist feature will be there. The device runs on android v4.4.2 KitKat. The power sector is run by a 2070 mAh battery, which provides moderate backup.
