David Crowder Announces New Solo Album and Tour Postponed

One of the most anticipated albums of the year Neon Steeple from beloved Christian artist David Crowder has been postponed until an early summer 2014 release. The David Crowder Band front man was scheduled to make his solo debut later this month has now been pushed back tentatively to May 27, 2014.
Making matters even more upsetting, the tour to support the album is also being rescheduled. The February/March dates have all been delayed to October and November. One positive not: special guests Capital Kings and All Sons & Daughter are both still expected to open up for Crowder on tour.
Crowder's reps posted a short statement on the singer's official website www.crowdermusic.com, citing "unavoidable circumstances," to upset fans and ticket buyers:
"We sincerely apologize for the album and tour shift, but we make every promise we'll do all we can to make it more than worth the wait."
Crowder followed up with a statement of his own.
"I am happy that we find ourselves carrying such a thing, but I am sad that we won't be able to share it for a bit more time. However in my greatest happiness, we will see you soon."
The postponement doesn't seem to be stopping Crowder's chart success. The first single off of Neon Steeple, "I Am," is currently ranked #14 on the Contemporary Christian Music Billboard charts.
