Jimmy Yeary & Sonya Isaacs (of the Isaacs) Welcome a Baby Boy!

Congratulations are in order to Sonya (Isaacs)Yeary of the Isaacs and Jimmy Yeary who have a new baby boy! Gatlyn Solomon Yeary was born on December 8, 2015 at 2:30pm. He weighs 8lbs,10oz. and was 21 in long. Mom, Dad and baby are said to be happy and resting comfortably. The couple also had another son, Ayden James Yeary, on July 26, 2011.
In addition to her solo work as both a recording artist and songwriter, Sonya is a member of the legendary bluegrass/gospel group, The Isaacs, along with her mom, sister, brother and brother-in-law. As a solo artist, Sonya released one album on Lyric Street Records, and has charted five singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Three were included on her self-titled debut album, released in 2000.
A fourth was a Christmas single included on the label's multi-artist collection No Wrapping Required: A Christmas Album. Her highest-charting single, "No Regrets Yet", peaked at number 36 on the country charts but did not appear on an album. She parted ways with Lyric Street in 2004.
Hubby Jimmy is a famed Nashville songwriter. In 1994, Jimmy moved to Nashville, Tennessee to begin a career as a recording artist. Although he was signed to Atlantic Records, a change in label personnel prevented his debut single from being released.
Through the assistance of Paul Worley and Wally Wilson, Yeary found work as a songwriter. Among Yeary's co-writing credits are Joe Diffie's top 10 hit "In Another World", Rascal Flatts' number 1 single "Why Wait", Troy Olsen's "Summer Thing", Martina McBride's "I'm Gonna Love You Through It", Heidi Newfield's "Stay Up Late", and Lee Brice's "I Drive Your Truck". He has sung lead for Shenandoah and The Isaacs
Jimmy and Sonya met in 2009 and were married after just a few months of dating. Their sweet, rapid romance was the inspiration behind Rascal Flatts' hit, 'Why Wait,' which Jimmy co-wrote with Tom Shapiro and Neil Thrasher.
