Kirk Edwards Offers the Genre-Bending Worship Tune "Make a Way"

London-based rapper, singer & songwriter Kirk Edwards has partnered with Homegrown Worship to release "Make a Way." Edwards brings a whole new level to the sound of Homegrown Worship with his new single. Blending gospel, pop, and grime elements, this is the first Homegrown release to put spoken word at the forefront.
With production that packs a punch, this is a song about redemption and reconciliation for the times we have strayed away from God. "Made A Way" breaks the conventions of your typical worship song to deliver a rap track bursting with scripture and spirit-filled praise.
"I was really able to see whilst writing this song exactly how many times in my life I've made mistakes that have caused me to stray from God and to see just how many times I've been in troubled situations where I have felt helpless, lost & hopeless, when I've routinely gone against his plans and desires for my life because I couldn't see the bigger picture that he had in store for me all along. He made a way!
I find myself using this song as both a reminder of where God has brought me from, and also a pledge realigning my will with God's own & HIS purpose for my life, and promising to allow myself to be used in any way possible for the glory of his name."
